July 31st, 2026 - CreditGuard monitoring, team access controls & agreement recovery

Section titled “July 31st, 2026 - CreditGuard monitoring, team access controls & agreement recovery”

Ongoing credit monitoring for your clients, not just a one-off check.

  • Daily monitoring alerts. When a monitored client’s credit position moves, Sawfish emails your organisation with what changed and how serious it is. Alerts also appear on your dashboard and on the client’s record.
  • Per-user email control. Each team member can opt out of CreditGuard alert emails from their team profile - monitoring keeps running, only their notifications stop.
  • Downloadable credit report. Generate a PDF credit report for any client from the credit score tab.
  • Clearer risk grading. Client risk is presented on an A1-F scale with a redesigned gauge and score history chart.
  • Refresh and re-run. Refresh a client’s credit data once a check completes. If a paid check returns blank data, you can re-run it at no extra cost.
  • Filter your client list by credit check and credit monitoring status.
  • User access controls. Manage what each team member can reach, with the account holder’s role protected from edits.
  • Organisation access is now enforced on every request. If you’re removed from an organisation, access ends immediately rather than lasting until you switch away.
  • A clear blocked state replaces confusing empty screens when you no longer have access to the organisation you were viewing.
  • Team management fixes - accurate member status and a working remove-from-team action.
  • Joining a team now collects your first and last name, and password reset emails send reliably.
  • Update the payment method on an active agreement. If a scheduled payment fails, the payment method can be corrected without re-issuing the agreement.
  • Client View is always available in the agreement admin, not only before sending.
  • Fixed an agreement client view that could not be scrolled.
  • Choose which team members receive the invoice-paid notification.
  • Description-only line items are allowed when editing an invoice.
  • System emails now use consistent Sawfish branding, with layout fixes for Gmail.
  • PayID payments register under the organisation’s name rather than the client’s.

July 7th, 2026 - Invoice discounts, voiding & smarter approvals

Section titled “July 7th, 2026 - Invoice discounts, voiding & smarter approvals”
  • Per-line discounts on invoices, entered as either a fixed amount or a percentage.
  • Discounts appear on the invoice PDF, both downloaded and emailed.
  • Line-item discounts are supported in the accounting API for integration partners.
  • Void an invoice through a dedicated action that also voids it in Xero.
  • Delete draft invoices and void pending ones from the invoice header menu.
  • Approve dropdown replaces the single “Approve and Send” button, so you can approve without sending. Sawfish tells you when an approved invoice won’t auto-send because today’s scheduled time has passed.
  • Re-send invoices that have already been approved.
  • Manage attachments while editing an invoice.
  • Editing an invoice now opens a real edit screen that keeps the invoice’s actual status instead of reverting it to draft.
  • Line-item descriptions are multi-line and grow with their content.
  • Negative line amounts are supported.
  • Due dates fill in automatically from the selected client’s payment terms.
  • Card payments moved to hosted payment fields, so card details never pass through Sawfish.
  • Detailed invoice PDF layout applies to the “detailed” template.
  • Batch payment invoice numbers are clickable, and the payee and description show in your transactions list.
  • Contacts can be flagged to be included in all email communications.
  • Timeline entries show the payment method used, and all times display in your local timezone.

January 30th, 2026 - Client self-onboarding & instant payouts

Section titled “January 30th, 2026 - Client self-onboarding & instant payouts”

Invite a client to confirm their own details instead of chasing them yourself.

  • Send an onboarding invitation from the client record.
  • The client completes a guided form covering their organisation details, additional contacts, and requested payment terms and credit limit.
  • Review what they changed side by side against your current record, then approve to apply it.
  • Both you and the client receive confirmation once onboarding is complete.
  • A banner on the client record tracks invitations still outstanding.
  • Instant payouts - request a payout on demand rather than waiting for the scheduled run.
  • Payout runs now happen twice daily.
  • Weekly payout reports, with control over which email addresses receive them.
  • Top-up history is included in your organisation usage view.
  • Contracts return an expiry flag so expired agreements are clearly identified.

  • Client search covers non-customer clients.
  • Credit limits are captured when creating a client.

The payment form now accepts a description field, which is stored as a string in the Sawfish dashboard. This helps match transactions with work orders, purchase orders, or invoices.

When a credit card payment fails, the end user receives a friendly message, while more detailed error information is saved against the failed transaction in the Sawfish dashboard.
